Welcome to Southern Peninsula Concert Band

The Southern Peninsula Concert Band is a not-for-profit community band with a long, proud history of service to the Mornington Peninsula.

Our regular performances include Anzac Day Parades, Christmas Carol Concerts, Retirement Village Performances and Community Market Day appearances. We are celebrating our 60th year in 2025!

The band rehearses every FRIDAY night, during Public School Terms.

Our first rehearsal for 2025 will Friday 7th February


TIME: 8:00 to 10:00 pm
(with 15 minute break at 9:00 pm for Tea, Coffee and Biscuits)

​The Band Hall is on the foreshore, next to the Sound Shell, Village Green, Nepean Hwy. Rosebud (opposite Sixth Avenue)

Players Wanted!

No auditions - All are welcome - Any standard!
(The band plays music from Grade 3 to about Grade 5)

If you play:  Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Baritone Saxophone, French Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba, Electric Bass, Mallets (Tuned Percussion), Timpani - you are most welcome to come along.

We especially need at the moment:
Clarinet, Oboe, Bassoon, Baritone Saxophone, Percussion, Trombone, Tuba, and extra French Horns.

SPCB are extremely grateful to Community Bank Hastings for their ongoing support with another Community Funding Grant. Our band relies on Grants to be able to keep operating. Musical Director Barry Fletcher and Vice President Trish Fowler gratefully accepted the Grant.

Rosebud - Meet at the corner of Point Nepean Road and 9th Avenue before 9am. Step off for the march is 9.30am. (Possible park at Woolies Car Park and walk down). Service at the memorial clock near Jetty Road. Sorrento - Meet at the flag pole in the middle of Sorrento Village Shops, Ocean Beach Road, at 11am for an 11.30 step off.
