Band Update 2 - 24th March 2020
Hi all,
Last week I received an email from the shire stating that they are closing all community halls until further notice.
I have also heard from Rosebud and Sorrento RSL's, and the Village Glen that they are cancelling their ANZAC services.
Therefore, band practice is suspended for the immediate future. When I know more I will let you know, but I suspect it might be a while.
In the meantime this is a good opportunity to get back to the basics of individual, daily practice (15 minutes a day is better than 1 hour once a week) i.e. scales, long notes and technical studies, so we are all in tip top form when band practice resumes.
